Sales Representative – Enterprise Content Management

Orienge is currently seeking multiple Sales Representatives to develop and close new business based on the Orienge Conterra system. The role will report directly to the Sales Manager. The right candidate will be an integral part of our talented team and support the continued growth of Orienge and its flagship product Conterra.  This position will be located in New York City, NY.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Attain ultimate proficiency in Conterra and the Conterra sales process
  • Handling inbound sales leads and leads nurtured by the Sales Associates
  • Convert leads into sales
  • Prospect organizational contacts at all levels (decision makers, technical users, business users, etc) with the objective to interest the prospect into an onsite or online meeting
  • Further qualify leads by assessing budget, authority, need, timing, influencing factors and next steps
  • Make professional prospect presentations (onsite and online) using PPT and Conterra
  • Effectively nurture leads by building relationships by conducting ongoing and informative dialog that helps prospects who are not yet sales-ready
  • Meet and exceed pipeline activity metrics as set and measured on a monthly basis
  • Quote prices, prepare proposals/sales orders, and coordinate with the Orienge technical team
  • Utilize the Orienge executive team to support the sales process
  • Manage a 4-8 month sales cycle using the Orienge CRM
  • Produce quota and monthly reports as required
  • Participation with openness and coach ability in Conterra and sales process training
Education/Work Required Qualifications

  • At least three (3) years enterprise sales and consultative sales selling experience
  • Experience with ECM sales a major plus
  • Four (4) year college degree or equivalent
  • Some travel required
Specialized Knowledge and Skills

  • Persuasive communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to sell technical products/solutions, conduct consultative selling and strong closing skills
  • Familiarity with current technical architectures and Microsoft products (MS Office, SQL, Exchange, Outlook, Dynamics, Great Plains, client server architecture, etc)

  • Compensation commensurate with experience
