Enterprise Software Project Manager

Orienge is currently seeking Project Managers for enterprise software implementations and system integration projects based on the Orienge Enterprise Content Management (ECM) platform Conterra. The role will report directly to the Business Development director. The right candidate will be an integral part of our talented team and this position will be located in New York City, NY.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Attain ultimate proficiency in Conterra, the Conterra sales process, and Orienge’s implementation methodology
  • Participate in requirements gathering from business and application development
  • Translate requirements into comprehensive project plans
  • Develop project timelines and drive them to completion through agreement and support across all stakeholders
  • Serve as the primary project contact for business managers, third party vendors, technology partners and internal project stakeholders
  • Perform operational forecasting, capacity, and resource planning
  • Define and promote best practices for project design and implementation
  • Prepare and deliver technical proposals and presentations to all levels of the firm, including business executives and senior technical experts
  • Conduct presentations, workshops, assessments and trainings for clients
  • Support related development and system integration projects
  • Ability to analyze corporate business processes and apply Conterra-based solutions
  • Work to standardize and introduce economies of repetition into the execution of projects
  • Support business development with a consultative focus towards negotiating new contracts
Education/Work Required Qualifications

  • At least three (3) years enterprise PM experience with implementations and integration
  • Experience with enterprise implementations and integrations a major plus
  • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) a plus
  • Four (4) year college degree or equivalent
  • Up to 40% travel required
Specialized Knowledge and Skills

  • Persuasive communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines
  • Ability to sell technical products/solutions, conduct consultative selling and strong closing skills
  • Familiarity with current technical architectures and Microsoft products (MS Office, SQL, Exchange, Outlook, Dynamics, AX, Great Plains, client server architecture, etc)
