Marketing & Sales Manager

Orienge is currently seeking a Marketing & Sales Manager to simultaneously lead the sales team and develop/drive market opportunities for Conterra, a leading enterprise content management (ECM) platform. The position will be at the heart of Orienge's success and reports directly to the President & CEO. Candidate will lead a talented team to deliver sales growth while accomplishing business development activities for Conterra. Candidate must be a seasoned sales representative and leader with a proven track record, should possess strong interpersonal and leadership skills, have strong business acumen, be capable of strategic thinking, and have deep analytical skills. This position will be located in New York City, NY.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Ability to generate and manage enterprise sales process as a Sales Representative
  • Accomplish marketing and sales objectives by planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating advertising, and trade promotion programs
  • Achieve marketing and sales operational objectives by contributing marketing and sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews
  • Prepare and complete action plans: quality and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying trends; determining system improvements; and, implementing change
  • Identify marketing opportunities by identifying consumer requirements; defining market, competitor's share, and competitor's strengths and weaknesses
  • Improve and participate in improving product marketability and profitability by researching, identifying, and capitalizing on market opportunities; improving product packaging; coordinating new product development
  • Research and develop marketing opportunities and plans; implementing sales plans; managing staff
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks and participating in professional organizations
Education/Work Required Qualifications

  • At least three (3) years sales management experience
  • At least five (5) years enterprise software sales experience
  • Experience with enterprise implementations and system integrations a major plus
  • Four (4) year college degree or equivalent
  • Minimal travel required
